MusicGen Large is Meta's flagship open-source music generation model, part of the AudioCraft family. It generates high-quality music from text descriptions or melody conditioning, running entirely locally with no API costs or usage limits. The large model (3.3B parameters) produces coherent musical pieces up to 30 seconds with strong instrument separation and genre adherence.
